M.A. Counselling Psychology, B.Sc
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with specialized training in complex trauma, PTSD and relationship issues. Before coming to this clinic, I worked for three years in private practice treating trauma in military members, veterans and their families.
I offer a warm space where you are supported to show your true, unfiltered self. My work is trauma-informed and I work primarily using EFT (Emotionally Focussed Therapy, integrating Mindfulness, parts work, the connection between mind-body (Somatic), and the power of personal strengths.
In my work with couples, I have experience dealing with trauma, communication issues, infidelity and consensual non-monogamy.
I use both my training and lived experience in my work with childhood adversity, coping with depression and burnout, bisexuality, ethical non-monogamy, long distance relationships, ADHD and supporting a partner with PTSD.
I completed my Masters degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Queen’s University. My clinical practicum was completed in a trauma-focussed setting with military families.
I look forward to connecting.

Beyond my Work:
I have a 5 year old Brittany Spaniel who is a certified novice trick dog. I love camping, hiking, cycling and yoga. I'm a bit rusty, but I also love Muay Thai and archery (I have a sparkly blue compound bow). I enjoy a good deep dive into some nerdy interests, currently it's antique glass bottle collecting and foraging mushrooms. I also am a sucker for a good patio and love trying new ciders or going to a concert, musical or maybe a museum. People are usually surprised to hear that I'm half Italian/Macedonian and half Jamaican.
