Working with me.
I am a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatry, with a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
I have more than 20 years experience in primary health care and mental health care.
I provide high-quality, compassionate and comprehensive mental health care to children (ages 10 and older), adolescents, and adults.
My practice specialties include (but not limited to) ADHD, Autism (level one or low support needs) depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, PTSD and OCD and more.
I take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to assessment that goes beyond symptom checklists to understand the full context of your experiences. Together, we will explore your personal history, relationships, life experiences, strengths, physical health, and overall well-being to better understand the factors contributing to your concerns.
I recognize that mental health challenges often involve overlapping patterns related to trauma, neurodivergence, attachment, and life circumstances. My goal is to help you make sense of these patterns, provide meaningful diagnostic clarity when appropriate, and develop a personalized plan that helps you move forward with greater understanding, direction, and confidence.
When appropriate and with your consent, I can also collaborate with our trauma-focused therapists to provide coordinated, integrated care. This helps ensure that the insights gained through your assessment support your broader therapeutic goals and create a clear path forward.
I have dedicated most of my nursing career to providing hope to clients with mental health challenges. I am committed to working with others to remove the barriers and stigma associated with mental illness.
