Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Certified Clinical Trauma Professional

We all deserve a safe space to explore our humanity without judgment and expectations, least of all from ourself!

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is passionate about supporting those who are living with traumatic experiences, PTSD/C-PTSD, complex trauma, personality disorders and mood disorders. I have a kind vibe, and a passionate heart. I am here to support you to feel secure enough to explore to the root of your concerns.

Trauma is not what has happened to us, but rather how we internalize these experiences and carry them with us. Sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by complex feelings, memories, and thoughts that hook you. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed techniques we can generate a safer feeling space so you can do this important work with your system. My training in trauma therapy and yoga inform the way I emphasize a body-mind connection with my clients.

You can find power around the barriers that are holding you back, and begin to see these blocks in a new way. You can set and reach goals that encourage positive changes, allowing you to fill your own glass so you can be authentically present for those you love...most importantly you!

I welcome clients from many spaces, and am a passionate advocate for those within the queer community. I whole heartedly believe that everyone deserves a space to share in the complexities of our human experiences. â€‹

Since completing my graduate training I have completed certifications in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am currently finishing Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Professional (DBTP), and Personality Disorder Treatment. As a dedicated forever student, I am very passionate about growing my skill set and practicing continue growth personally and professionally.

I am an absolute animal lover to my core! I live with my German Shepherd/Border Collie puppy Murphy, and sassy calico cat, Piper. As a yoga enthusiast my teacher training afforded me a deeper understanding and practice of mind-body connection and processing.

More about me, and how I work...

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS affords us the ability to evaluate various presenting parts of self, differentiating them from one another and encouraging opportunities to built a symbiotic relationship.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a practical and effective approach to promoting psychological flexibility, through the evaluation on core values, affording us the space to encourage values based action.

Providing space to explore bottom up processing encourages further examination of mind-body connections, and somatic based tools and interventions that promote our ability to ground in the present moment.

LGBTQ2+ Symbol

ALL are welcome.

The land on which our clinics operate have been the traditional land of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas of the Credit for thousands of years. Making Space Psychotherapy and its staff are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land. We also acknowledge and have gratitude for the elements of our work in various modalities that may come from ancient, ancestral and Indigenous ways of knowing and healing.
