Working with me.

I specialize in trauma, attachment, emotional regulation, neurodivergence, and relationship dynamics, helping individuals and couples understand the deeper patterns shaping their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. My approach is thoughtful, insightful, and deeply collaborative.

Sometimes you may feel trapped in patterns that no longer make sense to you, overwhelmed by anxiety, caught in self-criticism, struggling in relationships, reacting more intensely than you'd like, or feeling disconnected from yourself despite your best efforts to move forward.

Rather than asking, “What is wrong with you?” I am more interested in understanding, “What happened to you?”, “How did you learn to survive it?”, and “What is no longer serving you now?”

I enjoy helping you connect the dots between the struggles in your present and the underlying mechanisms that are driving them; whether these mechanisms emerge from attachment experiences, nervous system responses, cognitive patterns, family systems, or broader social contexts.

Our therapeutic relationship itself can become a powerful vehicle for change by creating opportunities for you to experience safety, reflection, emotional processing, and a new relational experience.

My work is grounded in the belief that psychological difficulties rarely occur in isolation. Human beings are shaped by the dynamic interaction of biology, development, relationships, culture, and life experience.

I strive to balance scientific understanding with genuine human connection. Therapy should feel intellectually meaningful, emotionally safe, and practically useful.

Let's connect!

Beyond my work.

Outside of my clinical work, I am deeply curious about people, cultures, and the many ways human beings make meaning of their experiences. I enjoy solo travel, exploring different perspectives, and learning from the diverse communities and individuals I encounter along the way. These experiences continually remind me of both our shared humanity and the unique stories that shape each person's life.

In my youth and young adulthood, I competed as a provincial and national-level athlete. Sport taught me valuable lessons about discipline, perseverance, resilience, and the importance of balancing performance with well-being -lessons that continue to influence both my personal life and clinical work today. I continue to value an active lifestyle and appreciate the role that movement, connection, and challenge can play in overall mental health.

My path into psychotherapy was not a linear one. Prior to entering the mental health field, I worked in a variety of industries and roles that exposed me to people from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances. These experiences continue to inform my practice by reminding me that every person's story is shaped by a complex interplay of relationships, opportunities, challenges, and strengths.

I believe some of our greatest growth occurs when we step outside familiar territory, whether through travel, meaningful conversations, new experiences, or the courageous decision to begin therapy.
