Clinic Policies

PHIPA/PIPEDA

The land on which our trauma clinic operates has been the traditional land of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas of the Credit for thousands of years. Making Space Psychotherapy and its staff are deeply grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.

We also acknowledge and have gratitude for the knowledge about trauma and connection, and for the elements of our work that have either come from or are aligned with ancient, ancestral and Indigenous or First People's ways of knowing and healing.

Making Space Psychotherapy is an approved provider under the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program, offering services to First Nations individuals with status in Ontario. We are also a partner provider with the Métis Nation of Ontario.
